Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Gen-Y Hitch Black A-Frame Mount Trailer Coupler. This heavy-duty A-frame coupler is going to let you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle, giving you a connection point for your 2 5/16-inch hitch ball. This is a high quality trailer coupler and it is designed for improved safety, durability, and especially ease of use when towing. So this does have a weight capacity of 21,000 pounds and a tongue weight of 2,100 pounds.

And this snap latch mechanism is going to ensure a simple, secure hookup and disconnect. You're just gonna drop that coupler over the 2 5/16-inch hitch ball, and then that latch is going to snap into place. And the latch must be open before coupling, so I'm gonna go ahead and open this here, just like that. I'm gonna bring this off to the side here. And I just drop that onto the ball, and as you can see, I've got a secure connection.

And then let me see if I can give you a closeup here showing you how to uncouple. So I'm just gonna go ahead and turn this like that, and then that's going to allow me to easily uncouple. So very simple. And this is going to be either a bolt-on or a weld-on installation, whichever is gonna work best for you. This does not include any hardware, if you decide to bolt this on.

So you would have to source whatever's gonna work best for you, yourself, locally. And this is of a heavy-duty steel construction. It's designed to withstand the stresses of towing, even under challenging conditions. And this is gonna give you durability, reliability, which are essential for long-term use. And this is a Gen-Y product, and Gen-Y is known for making very strong, durable, robust products.

A term that I've heard used of them from time to time is they overbuild their products, and that's definitely the case with this. So you're not gonna have any concerns whatsoever about build quality, it's really gonna last long for you. This does have a zinc primer and powder coat finish, so this is gonna hold up really well to rust and corrosion. And I think that finish is going to last a good long time as well, it's a quality finish. Let me see if I can give you some overall measurements in case you we inchesre wondering. So looking at the overall length simply from end to end, lining that up as best as I can, we're pretty close to 15 inches long. And then looking at the width, at the widest point here, about 12 inches. And then the height is gonna be about 4 3/4 inches.
